The launch of IFSEC South India

After creating a successful platform for the fire and security industry to interact at Delhi & Mumbai, UBM India is pleased to announce IFSEC SOUTH INDIA 2011, which is scheduled from 1st to 3rd June at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru, Karnataka. IFSEC South India is supported by APSA (Asian professional Security Association), India Chapter, and certified by US Commercial Services.

IFSEC South India will provide an excellent platform for organizations to capitalize and penetrate into the lucrative South Indian security market, being the second largest region of India for security installation and also known as India’s Silicon Valley.

The event will be an ideal platform to introduce new development, products and technologies for the Indian and international companies. This will give an opportunity for the global security industry buyers to see the latest innovation in technology from the world leading companies, source business solution and gather invaluable experts support, all under one roof.

The Indian Economy has shown a positive growth in the security and fire market, which was estimated to be worth in excess of$530 million in 2007, and growing at a rate of around 25 % annually (source report commissioned by the British Security Industry Association).

The key product areas in the Indian market are CCTV (which represents about half of all expenditures), Access Control and Intruder Alarms.

Therefore, it is at the forefront of technological advances and the market is eager to embrace the latest security, fire and building management systems and solutions available. In addition, very few security products are currently manufactured in India, with imports representing the bulk of security product sales, making this a particularly attractive market to international exhibitors.

Furthermore, around 70 percent of security installers in India also install fire protection equipment, making this market of particularly interest to companies providing integrated solutions.

All this makes India one of the fastest growing and important markets for Homeland and Commercial security Industry. On this high note IFSEC South India will be an ideal gateway to South Indian Homeland and Commercial Security Industry to showcase the latest innovation and technology to the relevant audience.

Block the dates in your calendar and book your space now to be a part of South India's International exhibition for Homeland, Commercial security and fire technology.
